What a night for BCM at this year’s BADC Awards

by Paul Cornwell on 27 October 2015

The BADC Awards are into their 41st year and in 2015 they drew a large crowd. 500 advertising, design, film and production people turned out on Saturday for a great night. We had a big team from BCM in attendance with 22 of us there for the awards, the party and a catch up with the industry.

BCM2 BCM Partnership added 3 new photos.

It was great to be shortlisted amongst such notable competition, and to take home 12 awards was fantastic. We’ll be making extra room on the trophy shelves ASAP! BCM was one of the top three most awarded agencies so we’re proud as punch of our haul of awards.

Here’s how we did:

  • Reduce Your Juice App for CitySmart was recognised across three of the Digital categories (including Mobile Content, Innovative Use of Digital and Visual Design).
  • Mates Motel campaign for the Department of Transport and Main Roads was recognised in the TV category and also as an Integrated Media Campaign.
  • The website and Old School Dads’ film developed for Bundaberg Brewed Drinks were awarded in the Websites, Online Shared Films, and Copywriting categories respectively. (Additionally, the Old School Dads ‘Fathers’ Day’ video was recognised in the Craft – Direction category).
  • We picked up a Digital award for Sunny Queen Farms’ Colleggtor Cards.
  • QUT’s ’15 Megapixels of Fame’ Preference campaign was awarded for Innovative Use of Digital.
  • And BCM’s ‘The Good, The Fad, The Ugly’ Video developed in connection with our What Next? Seminar Series was recognised with two awards (including Copywriting).

At BCM we are lucky to have the opportunity to do what we love and create work that delivers such great results. A special shout out to all our valued clients who we are so privileged to work with, thank you.

Most importantly, thank you to our incredible team at BCM for all the man hours, dedication and passion that keeps the wheels of BCM turning so brilliantly. Well done. We’re thrilled that your hard work has been recognised this year – congratulations.

Thanks also to our partners who we team up with on these and other projects. Your creativity and hard work make these sorts of awards possible. Thanks guys.

Finally, thanks to the hard working BADC Committee for making the night such a great success. Until next year!
